My background is in the area of Human Resources where I worked for one of Ireland’s largest banking organisations.   

Jo's passion is to help us understand and have better insight into what may be going on for us if we experience difficulties with our mental health, and most importantly what we can do about it.

I have always been interested in people and how each one of us behaves differently when we are faced with certain difficulties that life can sometimes present.

Many people experience emotional challenges at some point in their lives. With a little help, you can learn to feel calmer and see things from a different perspective.

I am a human givens therapist with a background as an NHS midwife, private antenatal educator and hypnobirthing practitioner. I have specialized in birth trauma, depression and anxiety for parents and healthcare professionals, but am currently expanding to specialize in addiction and bereavement. I will take NHS referrals and am based in Horsham for face to face clients, however, I will also accept online clients. I also have an enhanced DBS which allows me to work with adolescents.

I have been a Human Givens Therapist for 17 years, having previously been a GP.

I offer sessions between 9am and 6pm.

I have an enhanced DBS disclosure.

I graduated in medicine at the University of Edinburgh in 1985 and have enjoyed working as a doctor in a wide variety of medical settings.

I trained and qualified as a State Registered Nurse in 1981 at Kings College London.

Louise has a BA (hons psychology) and MA from Trinity College Dublin and an MBA from Edinburgh University.
