If you are affected by anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep or eating difficulties, self-harm, grief, anger or addiction then I can help. If you are feeling stressed or overwhelmed, perhaps experiencing challenges at work or within relationships, I can help. If you are struggling with concentration or academic or performance anxiety, I can help.
Since founding The Well-Minded Practice in 2011, I have helped many hundreds of individuals move forward from periods of difficulty in their life. With extensive experience working with all forms of emotional distress, I always strive to ensure that alongside specific work carried out during appointments, clients have a firm foundation of understanding and a set of tools to continue to maintain their own emotional health proactively in the future.
I have a special interest in working with academic anxiety and sleep difficulties and have worked extensively in this area both in private practice and in the higher education sector.
As well as my therapeutic practice I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), an advanced level of professional standing that evidences expertise in teaching and learning in higher education. I have had thousands of hours in the classroom teaching and training students and staff. I also work with Student Minds, the UK's student mental health charity, and is an assessor for the University Mental Health Charter.
I am a senior tutor and assessor on the Human Givens Diploma in Psychotherapy and Co-head of Supervision for the Human Givens College.
I am a Senior Accredited Member of the HGI, (SCoPEd Column C). I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and I am registered with the ICO.
Please feel free to get in touch by email or phone: you can book a first session today, or request a 15-minute initial call (free of charge) so I can answer any questions you might have.
