Anxiety

After a successful career in financial services and a break to bring up my children (one of which has special needs) I chose to retrain as a Human Givens Therapist.

I treat clients with a broad spectrum of challenges, from anxiety and depression to phobias and trauma, helping them to take control of their lives and get their emotional health back on track.

I am both a fully qualified Human Givens Practitioner and Medical Doctor with over 20 years of experience. I am based in Shropshire (UK).

Currently working in private Education setting working with adolescents. Prior work with university students as a Mental Health advisor and support worker.

I run face-to-face sessions in Yorkshire including in Leeds, York, Hull and Bridlington. I run online sessions wherever you are in the world. 

I have a deep understanding about mental health and wellbeing, and experience of working with people in tnany different situations in their lives. Clients feed back that I am calm, warm and approachable - that they feel accepted and comfortable being themselves. The approach aims to help people to overcome problems that might at first feel overwhelming, breaking down complex issues into practical, manageable steps. My goal is to build hope, motivation and a clear focus to achieve the positive changes that matter to you. 

I have journeyed with individuals facing challenging circumstances for many years and am a qualified psychotherapist.

I am not accepting clients at the moment.

I work face-to-face and remotely via Zoom. 

Penny has a specialist interest in the management and treatment of post traumatic stress, specifically relating to exposure in the workplace.
