I first came across the Human Givens model, after the completion of my doctoral schooling in the San Francisco Bay area.

As the saying goes, two heads are better than one, so let's get our heads together!

Whilst my Human Givens journey began in 2009, my work in the field began 20 years prior. I have since taught Human Givens on a counselling skills diploma and worked as a therapist with adults, staff within organisations, teachers, parents, young people and children overseas as well as in the UK (particularly Sri Lanka). In private practice my strengths lie in flexibility and creativity - tailor-making my approach to each client. I use an eclectic approach within the Human Givens framework, knowing exactly why each varied and different technique can be effective in accordance with current neuroscience. 

I am a Human Givens Therapist with a background of business, training and communications.

I am a human givens therapist with a background as an NHS midwife, private antenatal educator and hypnobirthing practitioner. I have specialized in birth trauma, depression and anxiety for parents and healthcare professionals, but am currently expanding to specialize in addiction and bereavement. I will take NHS referrals and am based in Horsham for face to face clients, however, I will also accept online clients. I also have an enhanced DBS which allows me to work with adolescents.

Difficult and challenging life situations affect us all. Sometimes however, we can get overwhelmed or find it a struggle to cope with these things, whether they are in our surroundings, our relationships or in our own thinking and general emotional health. If you feel that you would benefit from support, then it would be my sincere hope that by working with me you would quickly recover a sense of equilibrium and get back on track 

Des has been a business consultant, and latterly business coach, for more than 20 years. He received an OBE in 2004 for services to industry.

I have a wide range of experience, successfully using the Human Givens approach for over 20 years, with clients of all ages, and with diverse problems.

I work in a village just south of Diss, on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. I can also arrange to see people in mutually agreed locations, e.g. GP surgeries or at home.

I run a private practice from my home in North London  from Tuesday to Thursday between the hours of 9am to 8pm.  Sessions are approximately one hour and can be either in person or online.
