I have a background in teaching children in primary schools and teenagers / young adults in language schools. I worked as a Cruse bereavement counsellor for 12 years and as an accredited children’s bereavement counsellor also. I have worked as a play therapist in primary schools and have specialised as a sexual abuse therapist for a number of years dealing with complex trauma, DID, PTSD, eating disorders, self harm and suicide ideation. I have worked as a school counsellor and as a part time university lecturer teaching counselling at foundation level on a BACP accredited course. I am a trained facilitator with 'Just What We Need' able to offer parent workshops. I am a fully qualified supervisor with CSTD. I see private clients in my home during the day, evening and sometimes at the weekend. I enjoy working with all age groups and I am happy to visit people in their home if they have a disabling condition. I have a personal enhanced DBS check. All insurance and NHS referrals accepted also.
