Alex Kennedy

Alex is a qualified and highly experienced psychotherapist who has helped many hundreds of individuals move forward from periods of difficulty in their life. With extensive experience working with all forms of emotional distress, Alex strives to ensure that alongside specific work carried out during appointments, individuals are equipped with a set of tools to continue to maintain their own emotional health in the future. As well as his therapeutic practice, Alex was the founder of One Step borders CIC, an organisation which continues to support young people in the Scottish borders with their emotional and mental health.

Alex has previously worked with Children 1^st, specializing in enabling children and families to overcome trauma associated with domestic abuse.

Alex holds a DBS disclosure and is registered with the HGI.

Supervision

Alex is an accredited supervisor and able to take on new supervisees. Alex works with both experienced and trainee therapists.
