My aim is to work collaboratively with you to explore your needs and goals, giving you the support and focus needed to meet them.
I feel privileged to have been able to help people enhance their wellbeing over the past 25 years, supporting with a wide range of practical, emotional and psychological issues.
My background includes 20 years working with young people in schools, education support centres and in the community; facilitating clients through various transitions, using group work and one to one interventions. Exploring the wide range of themes which adolescents face, including mental health, depression, confidence and self-esteem, as well as providing careers advice and guidance. During this time, I enjoyed sharing good practise through a lead role, gaining experience in mentoring and assessing trainee advisors.
When I first came across the Human Givens approach in 2006, it really resonated. As I started to use the ideas to inform my work, it provided me with many more tools to enable clients to take control of their progression towards chosen goals.
I work with clients of all ages and have valued running my private psychotherapy practice in Harpenden over the last 8 years. If you feel I can help, you are welcome to request a free 20-minute call so I can answer any questions you might have.
I hold an enhanced DBS certificate for working with children and young people.
