Feel better and more confident about the future quickly. You will be given strategies, resources and practical help enabling you to feel a positive difference from your very first session.
Working from the Human Givens approach is fast, brief and effective in helping people return to a healthy sense of wellness. It is a talking therapy, that uses a combination of up-to-date, effective techniques, that include relaxation and visualisation to move you from the here and now to where you want to be and there is no need to delve into your past, or discuss traumatic events that you don’t want to talk about.
I will work with you, to help you feel better quickly. Even longstanding issues can be improved relatively quickly. I will listen, guide and give you skills, enabling you to feel a positive difference from your very first session!
All you need to do is email me or phone me for further details. We can discuss what you would like to get out of counselling and if you are happy, we can set up a date for your first session. At the end of this session we will together decide on the interval that suits you for your next session.
I also offer FREE counselling for Veterans of the Armed Forces in association with the Charity PTSD Resolution. (www.ptsdresolution.org)

Testimonials
When I made the first contact with Tricia I was open minded but also nervous because the previous help I sought didn't feel like it was getting me anywhere or making me feel better. Tricia was so welcoming and put me completely at ease from the very first session.
The sessions were very relaxed and I felt I could be completely myself and could say what I wanted. They were targeted to my needs and each session I noticed a change for the better since the last.
I needed someone to guide me and help me work things through myself and give me strategies to cope when things got too much. When she said it would only take a few sessions to start seeing a difference, she was totally right. I saw a counsellor for a few months and didn't feel I was getting anywhere but the human givens approach and Tricia's assistance really helped me. I would highly recommend Tricia and her approach to therapy. I believe the results were worth every penny and it was a lot quicker process than I anticipated

The Human Givens approach that Tricia practices has given me so much help. It has made me realise that I can do something about the anxieties I have suffered from since the death of my Father in 2009. I have seen Tricia only five times and already I am gaining back control over my own feelings. The Human Givens approach has shown me a positive path to the future. Unlike my experience of other types of therapy, there has not been the need to delve into painful events from the past to help me to move forward. I see each visit to Tricia as an opportunity to learn coping strategies, which are equipping me to be happier in my everyday life.

The help I received from Tricia was invaluable. Tricia quickly empathised with me and she was able to give me strategies so that I could learn to cope on my own. I am actually amazed myself how my life has really turned around and it is all thanks to Tricia. I was not only impressed by her professionalism, expertise and skill, but also by her kindness and genuine desire to help me, nothing seemed too much trouble for her and her kindness extended beyond our sessions. I strongly recommend her services.
